On April 23, 2025, an event dedicated to Armenia’s investment environment was held in Stockholm, the capital of the Kingdom of Sweden, under the high patronage of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Sweden.
The event was attended by high-ranking officials from both countries, as well as representatives of major Swedish companies and public institutions interested in Armenia’s business environment, including Business Sweden, Kommerskollegium, Exportkreditnämnden, and Swedfund.

The Investment Support Center Foundation presented Armenia’s investment attractiveness to the Swedish business community, highlighting the country as a profitable investment destination.
In this context, key aspects such as foreign direct investment regulations, macroeconomic indicators, and state support programs were outlined.

Representatives of Swedish state agencies also introduced their initiatives, programs, and available tools aimed at enhancing bilateral economic relations.

The Foundation held a bilateral meeting with H&M (Hennes & Mauritz), a Swedish company listed among The World’s Most Valuable Brands by Forbes.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the opportunities and prospects for H&M’s presence in Armenia.

As part of the visit, Acting Director of the Foundation Gohar Galyan and Investment Promotion and Foreign Relations Manager Lia Apikyan also met with representatives of the Swedish company Busmarket Sweden, a beneficiary of the Foundation’s aftercare services.
The discussion focused on key issues raised by the investor regarding the construction of a state-of-the-art fishery and animal waste recycling complex in Armenia that meets EU standards, in collaboration with Invest Plus LLC. Topics also included procedures related to the export of aquaculture products and relevant state support programs.
