➽ The draft decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia on "Approval of the 2025 Crop Production Support Program" is now available on the Unified Website for the Publication of Legal Acts' Drafts.

Objective of the Program:

The program aims to enhance food security by expanding the cultivation areas of grain crops, legumes, and forage crops across Armenia’s regions. The supported crops include:

• Grain Crops: Autumn and spring wheat, spring barley, corn, oats, and buckwheat.
• Leguminous Crops: Peas, beans, lentils, and chickpeas.
• Forage Crops: Alfalfa, sainfoin, and fodder beet.

This initiative aligns with Armenia’s agricultural policy and the 2020-2030 Agricultural Development Strategy, which prioritizes improving food security and nutrition. Expanding local agricultural production is a key measure to achieve these goals.
