➽ The Government of the Republic of Armenia has introduced amendments to the decision "On Approving the Targeted Programs for Economic Modernization."

The amendments introduce a new state support mechanism - subsidizing up to 10% of the annual interest rate on working capital loans used for the processing of certain strategic metals (e.g., iron, aluminum, copper, etc.).

The program targets economic operators engaged in the processing of such metals, who receive loans in Armenian drams of up to AMD 2 billion, with a maximum term of one year.

The subsidy takes effect from the loan disbursement date and remains valid until December 31, 2025. In cases where the acquired raw materials are sold instead of being processed, the subsidy is terminated, and the previously subsidized amount must be repaid to the state budget.
