German-Armenian Business Dialogue: Advancing Bilateral Economic Cooperation

The German-Armenian Business Dialogue, co-organized by the German Eastern Business Association (Ost-Ausschuss der Deutschen Wirtschaft), Enterprise Armenia, and the German Business Association in Armenia, convened key stakeholders from Germany and Armenia in a focused online exchange on investment collaboration and economic partnership.
With over 57 participants, including business leaders, policymakers, and sectoral experts, the dialogue served as a strategic platform to explore investment opportunities and deepen bilateral economic engagement.
Among the distinguished speakers, H.E. Mr. Viktor Yengibaryan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Germany, shared an insightful overview of Armenia’s internal developments and geopolitical security—a critical dimension for international investors seeking long-term stability in the region.
Dr. Ricardo Giucci of Berlin Economics presented Armenia’s macroeconomic outlook, highlighting key data and forward-looking trends. Representing Enterprise Armenia, Anna Hovhannisyan showcased the country’s evolving investment landscape, with a focus on priority sectors including high-tech, renewable energy, construction, healthcare, agriculture, tourism, and business services. She also emphasized Armenia’s government-backed incentives designed to enable foreign investment.
The dialogue was dynamically moderated by Alena Akulich, Regional Director for Eastern Europe at the German Eastern Business Association, and Meri Navasardyan, Executive Director of the German Business Association in Armenia. Their expertise ensured a well-structured and engaging conversation between German and Armenian stakeholders.
This high-level forum reaffirmed the shared commitment to strengthening German-Armenian economic ties and expanding avenues for mutual growth.
