On Business’s Side - Where Solutions Speak

Enterprise Armenia, standing with investors, continues to identify systemic barriers hindering business progress and to develop targeted, practical solutions.
Recently, Enterprise Armenia, in collaboration with the Migration and Citizenship Service of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs and the International Organization for Migration (IOM), organized a stakeholder discussion with companies operating in Armenia with foreign capital and international staff. The session aimed to present and review the draft amendments to the RA Law on Foreigners.
The meeting was moderated by Ms. Gohar Galyan, Acting CEO of Enterprise Armenia, who highlighted the recurring challenges faced by investors. In particular, the discussion addressed technical barriers, introduced proposed legal and system-level updates (including to the permits.am platform), and explored practical solutions. Issues related to the unified electronic platform for the employment of foreign workers (workpermit.am) were also reviewed.
Mr. Ruben Simonyan, Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, emphasized the importance of cultivating an enabling environment for talent development and welcomed continued cooperation between public and private sector actors.
