The Potential of Armenia's Renewable Energy at the Center of Lyon Friendship Days

The delegation of Enterprise Armenia participated in the "Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes-Armenia-Syunik Friendship Days" held in Lyon from November 20 to 21. The event aimed to strengthen economic, political, and institutional cooperation between Armenia and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
Enterprise Armenia engaged with international partners to discuss Armenia's investment opportunities and government support programs. Notably, Levon Ohanyan, CEO of Enterprise Armenia, participated in a roundtable discussion on economic opportunities in the energy sector in Armenia and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, while Gohar Galyan, Director of Investments, led an interactive session on Armenia’s economic attractiveness and investment environment.
The discussions primarily focused on the renewable energy sector, which is not only a priority for Armenia’s economy but also aligns with the roadmap for economic cooperation between Armenia and France.
“The development of renewable energy is not only a prerequisite for the country’s energy independence but also a key element in positioning Armenia as a global investment hub. Our mission is to create a reliable and supportive environment where international investors can contribute to the country’s development while achieving profitable business outcomes,” said Gohar Galyan, emphasizing the government’s commitment to improving the investment climate.
These initiatives highlight Enterprise Armenia's mission to foster strategic partnerships and position Armenia as a competitive investment destination.
