➽ A draft Government Decree of the Republic of Armenia introducing amendments to Government Decision No. 201-L of February 28, 2019, "On Approving the Interest Rate Subsidy Program for Loans Provided for the Procurement of Agricultural Raw Materials," is now available on the Unified Website for Publication of Legal Acts' Drafts.

The adoption of the draft will allow businesses engaged in the procurement of large cattle to benefit from the budget guarantee instrument. This will support slaughterhouses in organizing procurement operations, expanding their activities, and generating income not only from slaughter services but also through the purchase, fattening, and supply of livestock-thus shaping a new culture in the sector. The project will also contribute to the creation of new jobs.

Until December 30, 2026, slaughterhouses will be eligible to receive loans with a repayment term of up to 1.5 years, subsidized at 9%, with a grace period of up to 6 months. The loan amount will be calculated based on the slaughterhouse’s surface area-up to AMD 0.2 million per square meter-with a maximum loan cap of AMD 20 million per beneficiary.
