During the 28th Annual Conference of the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA), Enterprise Armenia held several productive meetings with public and private sector delegations, resulting in practical agreements.

Notably, Levon Ohanesyan, CEO of Enterprise Armenia, met with Ismail Ersahin, President of WAIPA, while Gohar Galyan, Director of Investments, met with Dushyant Thakor, Vice President of WAIPA. The discussions focused on Enterprise Armenia’s potential membership in WAIPA and the prospects for accessing global resources. An agreement was reached to host one of WAIPA’s flagship events in Armenia, aiming to enhance the country’s investment appeal and integration into the global investment network.

In addition to official engagements, meetings were held with private companies from the ICT, agriculture, and renewable energy sectors interested in Armenia’s investment environment. Enterprise Armenia presented the unique features and priorities of Armenia’s investment landscape, along with its comprehensive “Single Window” investment service.

Bilateral meetings were also held with the Invest Saudi Foundation and the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority, during which prospects for mutual cooperation were discussed. As a result, an agreement was reached with Invest Saudi to initiate a joint event dedicated to the investment environments of both countries. Additionally, they expressed their willingness to support Enterprise Armenia in attracting companies from Forbes's "Most Valuable Brands" and the "Fortune Global 500" list.

“The event serves as a platform for discussing global investment trends and forging new partnerships to promote foreign direct investment. Enterprise Armenia’s delegation maximized this potential by showcasing Armenia’s investment attractiveness to public and private sector stakeholders, fostering foreign investments, and establishing new collaborations,” summarized Gohar Galyan, Director of Investments, on the outcomes of the conference.
