Enterprise Armenia and Business France Advance Toward Strategic Partnership

Enterprise Armenia welcomed a delegation from Business France for a strategic meeting focused on expanding economic and investment cooperation between Armenia and France.
The delegation was led by H.E. Olivier Decottignies, Ambassador of France to the Republic of Armenia ալօնգսիդե ոիտհ Mme Yvane Bocchi-Wirman, Regional Director of Business France, and Mr. Hugo Debroise, Head of the Economic Service for Armenia and Georgia.
Representing Enterprise Armenia were Ms. Gohar Galyan, Acting General Director, Ms. Lilit Haroyan, Head of Investment Promotion and Foreign Relations, and Ms. Sona Mikayelyan, Senior Manager for Investment Promotion and Foreign Relations.
A key topic of the meeting was the planned signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Business France and Enterprise Armenia. Both parties confirmed their interest in formalizing the partnership, with the MoU expected to be signed during a forthcoming high-level intergovernmental event between Armenia and France.
The sides also discussed organizing an experience exchange session between the two agencies, with the aim of enhancing institutional cooperation and sharing best practices in investment promotion.
Enterprise Armenia presented Armenia’s Investment Policy Statement, outlining the country’s priority sectors and target countries for foreign investment—with France identified as a key partner.
Additionally, the meeting included discussions around the potential visit of a French business delegation to Armenia in 2025. Enterprise Armenia expressed its full readiness to support the initiative by arranging site visits to leading Armenian companies and facilitating B2B engagement opportunities.
