Enterprise Armenia took part in Government Day at the Sevan Startup Summit 2025, a major regional event that brought together innovators, investors and policymakers. Held at Lake Sevan, this year’s theme “Innovative governance: solutions for the future”, focused on how collaboration between sectors can shape resilient, future-ready economies.

As Armenia’s state investment promotion agency, Enterprise Armenia used the event to present its role in supporting public-private partnerships (PPPs) and contributing to innovation initiatives with measurable results.

During the panel discussion “Driving innovation through public-private partnerships,” Gohar Abajyan, CEO of Enterprise Armenia, joined leaders from government, technology and business to discuss how Armenia can accelerate innovation through focused, high-impact collaboration between public institutions and the private sector.

Gohar Abajyan emphasized that effective partnerships rely on speed, trust, and shared goals:

“In the high tech, we’re seeing real momentum. We’re starting to get it right. We’re seeing High Tech Industry and government leaders who are not afraid to say yes – to fund, to co-develop, to pilot. What we need now are partnerships that move at the speed of relevance. We need a model where both sides don’t just support innovation – they run on it.”

She highlighted recent PPPs as tangible examples of what it means to run on innovation:

“We’re seeing launch of strategic PPPs. Examples I’m really excited about are Engineering City and Firebird AI. Firebird is building an AI Factory that can power everything from education to public services.”

Gohar Abajyan made clear that Enterprise Armenia is ready to put its name - and its credibility - behind building that trust. And it is our mission- we’re not here to decorate policy. We’re here to push deals through, force alignment and make things real.

The SSS25 has become a vital platform for forming partnerships that drive real outcomes. Government Day 2025 reflected a growing alignment between the private sector’s ability to innovate and the public sector’s readiness to act.
