The Government of Armenia has officially approved the investment program of Ijevan Bekon company to build a modern pig farming complex in the village of Mayisyan, Armavir province. This is an investment project worth approximately 2.1 billion AMD, aiming to create 49 new jobs and produce 2,280 tons of pork annually using advanced industrial crossbreeding technologies.

As part of the investment project, about 863 million AMD has already been invested and an additional 1.2 billion AMD is expected to be attracted soon.

The project will be implemented both on land owned by Ijevan Bekon and on community land plots to be acquired by government decision. The company also plans to use these areas for land improvement (recultivation) using processed manure, which will ensure effective and environmentally responsible operations.

The investment project of Ijevan Bekon is another success story supported by Enterprise Armenia. Since the beginning, Enterprise Armenia has accompanied the project, providing comprehensive support at all stages of the investment process. Our support has included various activities to facilitate the implementation of the investment initiative, including organizational, legal, administrative and cooperation-related processes with government bodies.

We continue our efforts to create a more favorable investment environment in Armenia and to contribute to the country's sustainable economic development.
