➽ The Government of Armenia has introduced amendments to the decision on “Establishing a Professional Commission for the Qualification of Scientific Research and Experimental Development (R&D) Activities, Defining Its Operational Procedures and Composition, and Setting Criteria for Qualification”.

Key Changes:

1. Improved Tax Incentive Conditions for Beneficiaries – Businesses can submit applications from April 1 to April 30, 2025. To ensure that entities engaged in scientific research and experimental development benefit from tax incentives starting January 1, 2025, the decision extends the incentives to all relevant activities initiated after January 1, 2025.
2. Reduction in Commission Size – The government-established commission will now consist of at least six members, enhancing the efficiency of meetings held to qualify scientific research and experimental development activities.
3. Adjustment of Application Deadlines – The previously defined application deadlines are annulled, except for the first-time application window from April 1 to April 30, 2025, as there were no prior regulations for activities already initiated before the application process began.
